MundiVue Terms of Service
Text from here to the end of §B is the part intended for publication.
B.1 Who we are, and what this covers
These terms govern your use of MundiVue, an app for Even Realities G2 glasses that identifies monuments, buildings, museums, artworks and historic places from your photographs and answers questions about them. MundiVue is operated by the developer named in the Even Hub listing — Marius Necula ("we", "us"). Contact: necula.go4it@gmail.com.
MundiVue is an independent application. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Even Realities; your glasses, the Even Realities app and the Even Hub are governed by Even Realities' own terms, and this document governs only MundiVue. Our privacy policy explains what data the app processes and is part of these terms; our support policy explains how to reach us and what to expect.
B.2 Access
MundiVue is currently a private release. Access needs installation credentials that we issue personally; they are for your own use, may not be shared, and we may revoke them if these terms are broken. There is no charge, and there is no MundiVue account — the credentials identify the installation, not you.
B.3 What MundiVue does
Point the companion app's camera at a place or artwork, choose a photo, or ask a question by voice or text. The app sends the photograph or question to our service, which uses a third-party AI model to identify the subject and build a short expert guide with sources. Nearby discovery shows cultural places within a few kilometres of where you are, from OpenStreetMap data. Details of every data flow, including what is never stored, are in the privacy policy.
B.4 AI results can be wrong — do not treat them as verified fact
Identification and answers are produced by an AI model. They can be mistaken: a similar building can be misidentified, a plausible detail can be wrong, and a description can be incomplete or out of date. MundiVue is built to be honest about this — it reports how confident an identification is and says so plainly when it cannot identify something rather than guessing — but honesty about uncertainty is not the same as accuracy, and we make no promise that any result is correct.
Treat MundiVue as a starting point, not an authority. Check the attributed sources shown with each guide before relying on any fact. Do not use MundiVue for navigation, safety, medical, legal or financial decisions; it is a cultural companion and provides nothing of that kind.
If a result is wrong, please tell us — the support policy has a dedicated way to report a content error, and corrections ship in a future release.
B.5 Your photographs and questions
You keep all rights to your photographs and questions. You give us only what is needed to answer you: permission to process them, transiently, through our service and its AI provider, as the privacy policy describes. We keep nothing and build nothing from them.
You are responsible for what you photograph: for respecting other people's privacy, and for observing any photography rules that apply where you are — some museums and sites restrict photography, and those rules are yours to follow.
B.6 Acceptable use
Do not: share or resell your credentials; probe, overload or disrupt the service (requests are rate-limited); use MundiVue for anything unlawful; or send content designed to make the AI produce unlawful output. We may suspend credentials that do any of this.
B.7 Sources and attribution
Guides draw on attributed sources — OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia and museum open databases — shown with each place, with their licences where applicable. The sources belong to their publishers under their own terms. MundiVue's own text is generated per request for you and is not a licensed database.
B.8 Changes, availability and ending use
MundiVue is a young product run by a small operation. The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued; app updates arrive as new releases through Even Hub, and fixes are made by shipping a corrected version rather than by altering a released one. We do not promise availability. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app — everything the app stored on your phone goes with it. If these terms change materially, the new version is published at the same address with a new effective date.
B.9 Warranties and liability
MundiVue is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows — including any warranty that results are accurate, that the service is uninterrupted, or that it fits a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for reliance on any identification or description; for a free service, our total liability is limited to the greatest extent the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
B.10 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute belongs to the courts located in Florida.
